These beautiful silk bags are from Indian.  The straps are very long and can be adjusted to fit your style.  I believe the Indian woman put the bag over their head and shoulders and adjusted the length around their waist, and that’s how I wear mine! Or you can just cut them short and tie a knot at each end.

If you cut the straps, be sure and tie a knot at the end of each cord.
