Myths or Truths about Gemstones
Myths or Truths
As far back as there is recorded history, man has sought after gemstones. They have been revered as precious treasures and used in a variety of ways. Since gemstones are not easy to find, their value became immeasurable.
In those early days of human culture, gemstones took on symbolic “power” meanings for both royalty and commoner alike. Some were associated with good health, healing, prosperity, and protection, just to name a few.
Whether you accept these meanings or not is your choice. There are as many different meanings for gemstones as there are books written about them. Every civilization had its own definitions.
Here, I will present what I have found as it pertains to each stone from several sources. We are drawn to a particular stone for its color, its meaning or something you just can’t put into words. If you feel this way about a stone…..get it, carry it, wear it, use it, and see what happens in your life.
Personally, I make no claims to the power of gemstones, but there are a few… I love… and I wear, use, and carry.
